Patient checks in Room column is blank Status may say In depending whether it was kiosk vs PSR Patient called for triage MA Nurse puts their initials in the Room column and changes Status to Screening If patient doesn t answer MA Nurse puts NAx1 for No Answer x1 Patient finishes triaging MA Nurse puts WR in Room column for Waiting Room or the exam room if resident s room was free and MA Nurse changes Status to Ready Resident sees patient Resident updates Room column with their room and changes Status to In Room with Practitioner Patient ready for nursing Resident updates Room to either WR or leave their room depending on where the patient will be and changes Status to LAB INJ EKG or any combination of these If no orders are needed resident changes Status to Discharged Patient getting orders done MA Nurse may put their initials in Room column so other MA Nurses know who is doing the orders MA Nurse changes status to Discharged once patient is ready to checkout
